The objective of this optimization was to find a shape that is optimized architecturally as well as structurally to minimize the amount of light hitting the floor underneath. To achieve the eventual shape I used Karamba, Ladybug and Galapagos.

Parameters are: Placement of touching points between structural mesh and the ground. Height of the openings in the shape. Size of the openings. Height of the floor elements.
